What is Orange Copy Paste?

Orange Copy Paste captures the text, images and files you copy, keeps a searchable history alongside your notes, and syncs them across your devices. Sync is end-to-end encrypted: items are encrypted on your computer, and the server cannot read what you copied. Cloud sync is optional. The app is fully usable offline.

The pieces

Piece	What it does
Clipboard history	Every copy lands in a history with no entry limit that you can search, filter, pin, save, and tag with groups.
Quick paste	`Ctrl`+`Shift`+`V` opens a popup at your cursor. Press a number and that entry is pasted.
Notes	A full editor with task lists, tables, code blocks and attachments, living next to your clips.
Cloud sync	Optional, end-to-end encrypted sync of history and notes across devices, in realtime, passive, or manual mode.
Spaces	Live shared feeds between people. Share a clip or note into a space and every member sees it in seconds.

New here? Install and first run takes about five minutes, from download to your first paste by number.

Principles the app is built on

Local first. No account is required, and everything works with the network gone. Your data lives on your machine.
The server cannot read what you copy. Encryption happens on your computer, and your password never leaves it. The security model lists what the server can and cannot see.
Sharing is opt-in. Nothing is shared unless you shared it, or you switched on automatic sharing for a space. It is off by default.
